The Barbour Beaufort jacket, designed by president Dame Margaret Barbour in 1983, is one of Barbour's most iconic waxed jackets. Featuring a full-width lined rear pocket, this jacket is a classic all-year-round piece with its removable hood and lining. Made from durable 170g medium weight waxed cotton, the Beaufort offers good protection in any weather conditions. It includes wind-resistant Velcro cuffs, a distinctive studded corduroy collar, a two-way Barbour zip, and a front closure with metal buttons to shield the zipper. The relaxed fit jacket also has two bellows pockets, two handwarmer pockets, and a large nylon-lined rear pocket. The modern Beaufort is lined with the Classic Barbour tartan, inspired by the Barbour family's Ayrshire county tartan.
